Short Introduction
The Anaplasma Antibody AB Test is lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Anaplasma spp. in dog's serum, plasma and whole blood specimen.
Principle
Canine Anaplasma Ab Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunotiography. The test card has a test window to observe the test run and the results read. The test window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone.Apply the treated sample to the sample hole on the device and the liquid flows horizontally across the surface of the test strip, reacting with the pre-covered antigens of the nongen weight group. If there are progeny antibodies in the specimen, a visible T-line appears.Row C should always appear after the sample is applied, which represents a valid result. In this way, the device can accurately indicate whether there are invisible antibodies in the specimen
TEST PROCEDURE Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25ºC before running the assay.
Take out the test card from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
Collect 20μL of the prepared specimen into a vial of assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120μL) of the diluted sample into the sample hole "S" of the test card.
Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTSPositive (+): The presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.
Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
