Short Introduction
The Canine Infectious Hepatitis Antigen CAV Ag Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Canine Adenovirus type-I antigen (CAV-I Ag) and Canine Adenovirus type-II antigen (CAV-II Ag) in secretions from dog's eyes, nasal cavities, and anus.
Principle
Canine CAV Ag Test are based on sandwich transverse flow immunochromatography.
The test device has a test window for observing the test run and the result readings.
Before running the test, the test window has an invisible T (test) region and C (control) region. When the treated sample is coated into the sample hole on the device, the liquid flows across the surface of the test strip and reacts with the monoclonal antibody prior to the coating. If there is CAV antigen in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. After the example is applied, the C line should always be displayed, which indicates a valid result.
In this way, the device can accurately indicate the presence of CAV antigen in the specimen.
Feature
1. Easy opertaion
2. Fast read Result
3. High Sensitivity and accuracy
4. Reasonable price and high quality
TEST PROCEDURE Collect dog's ocular, nasal or anus secretions with the cotton swab and make the swab wet sufficiently.
Insert the swab into the provided assay buffer tube. Agitates it to get efficient sample extraction.
Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
Suck the treated sample extraction from the assay buffer tube and place 3 drops into the sample hole "S" of the test device.
Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS- Positive ():" C" line and "T" line exist simultaneously, whether the line is clear or blurred.
- negative(-): show clear C line. Only no T line.
- Invalid: No color line in C area. regardless of whether the T line appears or not.
