Short Introduction
The Canine cPL Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of the canine pancreatic lipase (cPL) in dog's serum, plasma or whole blood specimen, as an a uxiliary examination of pancreatitis.

Product NameCPL Test  Canine Pancreatic Lipase Rapid Test
Specimenserum, plasma or whole blood specimen, as an auxiliary examination of pancreatitis
Assay Time5-10 minutes
Part No.VD075

Principle

The Canine cPL Test is based on sandwich method lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated cPL monoclonal antibodies. If the concentration of cPL is exceeding the cutoff, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of cPL antigen in the specimen.

Feature
1. Easy opertaion
2. Fast read Result
3. High Sensitivity and accuracy
4. Reasonable price and high quality

TEST PROCEDURE
Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25ºC before running the assay.
- Take out the test card from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
- Use the capillary dropper to suck specimen and place 1 drop (approx.10 μ L) of the prepared specimen into sample hole "S" of the test card. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 90μL) of the assay buffer into the sample hole. Start the timer.
- Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
The presence of "C" line indicates a valid result. Read the result by comparing the color intensity of the "T" line with the standard color reference scale (from "G1" to "G6").

- Positive (+): The presence of both C line and zone T line, and the T line is stronger than G2. If T line is stronger than G2, it indicates that the concentration of cPL is elevated and higher than 200μg/L. If the T line is stronger than G3, it indicates that the concentration of cPL is higher than 400μg/L, and warns a high possibility of pancreatitis to the patient dog. The stronger the T line, the higher the severity.
- Negative (-): Only clear C line appear, no T line or T line is weaker than G2.
- Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
